History

GKFORGE company was founded in 1983 under the name ZAKŁAD KUŹNICZY Karol Grelowski  [[Karol Grelowski FORGING PLANT] in Ustroń and it was involved in the production of die forgings and open die forgings.

Due to the lack of development opportunities, in 2005 the plant was moved to the Goleszów Industrial Park where the existing halls were expanded and a new production hall was built.

The adopted long-term development plan, created on the basis of our own ideas and concepts, and implemented consistently over the next years, brought the expected results in the form of the company's success. When the production base was expanded, work was also carried out on the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, guaranteeing high quality of the manufactured products.

In January 2012, the company was transformed into an entity called GK FORGE GRELOWSKI  Obróbka Plastyczna Metali [Plastic Working of Metals] based in Goleszów, where the company has operated since then.

GK FORGE Grelowski company has over 30 years of experience in the production of forgings for the automotive, construction and gas industries as well as for the mechanical and agricultural sectors. We offer a full range of die and upset forgings made to order - in accordance with both our catalogue offer and individual offers.

As a universal forge, we have a modern machine park comprising lines of presses with a pressing force ranging from 100 to 1,600 tons and induction heating forging machines (1 to 3 inches). Thanks to these machines we can produce forgings weighing from 0.05 to 7 kg using steel of various grades such as e.g. carbon, alloy, stainless and acid-resistant steel as well as brass.

In our plant, we machine forgings in small and medium-series production. For machining, we use vertical milling and turning centres with the possibility of milling and turning in the range from 30 to 200 mm.

By concentrating the entire production process in one plant, we can reduce the cost of a finished workpiece production and gain high flexibility of the work performed (in the case of any possible modifications and corrections made by the customer). This results in the machining time reduction to a minimum, repeatability and high quality of end products, while maintaining an attractive price of the workpiece.

One of the greatest advantages of our production plant is short delivery lead time. We are able to start production within 3-4 weeks after the order placement date, and thanks to our extensive experience and modern equipment we can meet our customer requirements quickly.
